1. Self-tapping Screws- A self-tapping screw can tap a hole on its own because it is driven into the material. These screws are used only to describe a particular type of thread-cutting screw with the intention to produce a thread which has relatively soft material, except wood screws.

3. Socket head cap screws- These have a large head and a cylindrical shaft. The diameter of the head is larger than the threaded portion, providing a positive mechanical stop when the screw is tightened. 

4. Thumb screws- These screws offer a hand adjustment feature, which allows one to fasten, tighten, or loosen the screw. The advantage of using these screws is that no tools are required, so these can be assembled and adjusted with the thumb or forefinger alone.
